Land Permits
Cully Corporation General Land Use Permit . The Cully Corporation owns lands around the village Point Lay, Alaska. A general land use permit is required to access corporate lands. Permits are temporary use only no permanent improvements are allowed on Cully land. Permitted uses shall not interfere with any subsistence activities. Shareholders and Native Alaskan’s are free to subsistence on Cully Lands without charge.
Costs
The above fees cover administrative costs. Additional fees will be charged for extensive, long-term or large projects that require Cully to administer and monitor use of corporate lands. A lease may be required for certain transactions. If Cully Board of Director approval is required for an activity an additional $5,000 to $10,000 administrative fee will be assessed. A plan of operations describing proposed activities may be required. A post-activity report may be required, for example the type of game and number harvested. Proof of insurance may be required for non-commercial activities.
This is a general land use permit. Specialty permits, leases or user agreements will be required for activates such as oil and gas development, fill/dredging, gravel extraction with mining plan, fuel storage, hazardous material storage, solid waste disposal, mining, sensitive habitat disturbances, off shore drilling support services, utility development and resource harvesting.
Enforcement: A Permittee is required to carry a current permit at all times when accessing Cully lands. This card shall be during field
inspections by designated Cully representatives. Cully retains the right to deny, revoke or limit any permit at any time, for misrepresentation of permit information.
Liability: General liability insurance is required for commercial ventures. The Permittee and all members of the party/family understand and agree that they are assuming the risk by entering onto Cully lands. The Permittee and every member of the permittee's party or family, whether they have signed the permit or not, understand and accept the risks and release and agree to hold harmless, indemnify and defend Cully and all Cully subsidiaries and their officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability and costs of any kind whatsoever with respect to this permit and the use of Cully lands.
